Free parking is available at Chester Racecourse. Our pedestrian entrance is on Nuns Road.
Access to 1539 Restaurant & Bar for customers with special access requirements is available via a lift from the Chester Racecourse car park. Park in front of the restaurant (within the grandstand) and proceed through the tunnel under the restaurant, bearing left. The lift is located directly in front of you.
1539 offers the most unique backdrop in which to enjoy a drink and a delicious meal in comfortable surroundings whilst taking in the breath-taking vista of the oldest racecourse in the UK. Our varied menu offers twists on British classics alongside dishes inspired by flavours from across the globe and a quintessential Afternoon Tea offering.
